How It Works
Hi. I can answer general questions about the $50 Massachusetts certification service, phone-based appointments, payment, hours, and renewals. For anything else, leave your name and phone number or email and we’ll follow up.
A focused telemedicine evaluation, start to finish
MedicalCardsMA is a $50, phone-based telemedicine certification evaluation, available Monday through Sunday, 12 PM–5 PM, for patients 18 and older. Here’s exactly what to expect at each step.
Schedule & pay
Choose an available appointment and pay the $50 evaluation fee online, in the same booking flow.
Complete your intake
Before your appointment, complete the full secure intake form covering your medical history, current conditions, relevant medications, and prior cannabis experience. Your appointment can’t take place until it’s finished.
Meet with a clinician
Attend your evaluation by phone. When certification is clinically appropriate, your clinician submits it and explains next steps for state registration.
Before your appointment
- Have a government-issued photo ID and your Massachusetts address on hand.
- Your appointment length depends on your needs — most straightforward certification visits are brief.
- Complete the full secure intake form before your scheduled time — it’s part of the scheduling and payment page. Your appointment cannot proceed until it’s finished.
- Bring or upload relevant medical records when available. Your clinician may request additional documentation if needed to complete an appropriate evaluation.
- Appointments are available Monday through Sunday, 12 PM to 5 PM.
Eligibility
This service is available to Massachusetts patients 18 years of age or older.
During the visit
Your evaluation is conducted by phone. A member of our certification team — a physician or nurse practitioner — reviews your intake, discusses your relevant medical history and cannabis experience, and completes a clinical assessment. Certification is a clinical decision made during this evaluation — it is not automatic and is not guaranteed before the visit.
After the visit
If certification is clinically appropriate, your clinician submits it and you’ll receive instructions for the next Massachusetts state-registration steps. [PLACEHOLDER: confirm turnaround-time expectations for certification submission and any registry follow-up.]
