MedicalCardsMA is a $50 live telehealth certification evaluation (video for new patients, phone or video for renewals), available Monday through Sunday, 12 PM–5 PM EST, for Massachusetts patients 18 and older.

Choose an available telemedicine appointment time and pay the flat $50 evaluation fee online in one smooth process.

Complete Your Intake

Before your appointment, complete a secure, private intake covering your medical history and qualifying conditions.

Meet by Video or Phone

Attend your live telehealth evaluation: video for new patients, phone or video for renewals. When approved, your clinician submits your certification to the State (CCC).

Before Your Appointment

  • Have a valid government-issued photo ID and Massachusetts address on hand.
  • Complete your secure medical intake form prior to your appointment time.
  • Bring or upload relevant medical records when available.
  • Appointments are scheduled Monday through Sunday, 12 PM to 5 PM EST.

During the Phone Visit

Your evaluation is a live telehealth visit: video for new patients, phone or video for renewals. A licensed Massachusetts clinician (physician or nurse practitioner) reviews your intake, discusses your medical history, and completes a clinical assessment.

Eligibility: Available to Massachusetts residents 18 years of age or older. Certification is a clinical determination and is not guaranteed.

After the Visit & Turnaround Time

If certification is clinically appropriate, your clinician submits it directly to the official Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission (CCC) portal and you will receive instructions for state registration.
