Quincy, Weymouth, Braintree, Plymouth, and the rest of the South Shore sit far enough from most Boston-based certification clinics that an in-person visit usually means Route 3 traffic on top of the appointment itself. MedicalCardsMA is telemedicine, so that drive isn’t part of the process — your evaluation is a phone call, scheduled around your day.
A statewide telemedicine service, not a local office
MedicalCardsMA doesn’t have a physical location on the South Shore. It’s a Massachusetts-wide telemedicine certification service — South Shore residents use it exactly the way patients anywhere in the state do, by phone, rather than in person.
What to expect
Schedule and pay online, complete a secure intake form covering your medical history and cannabis experience ahead of time, then meet by phone with a physician or nurse practitioner. If certification is clinically appropriate, it’s submitted the same visit. Full details are on our How It Works page.
Cost
$50 flat, the same fee for a new certification or a renewal, with no state charge added on top — see the full cost breakdown. Appointments are available Monday through Sunday, 12 PM to 5 PM, for patients 18 and older.
